For US Citizens Visiting Families
A. BALIKBAYANS ( Former Filipinos) or Naturalized must show proof by :
* Expired Philippine Passport or
* Birth Certificate showing born in the Philippines
B. FOREIGN SPOUSE and CHILDREN ( born in the USA)
Must be traveling together with the Balikbayan. Foreign spouse must show Marriage Certificate. Foreign child must show Birth Certificate. Here are the requirements:
- Balikbayans US Passport with Old Philippine Passport or Birth Certificate

Un-vaccinated US Citizens are not allowed to enter the Philippines at all. You can apply for dual citizenship if you want remain un-vaccinated and wish to go home to the Philippines.
For US Citizens As Tourists
- Passport: Must be valid at least 6 months at the time of entry, VISA is NOT required for Americans to enter the Philippines.
